Who is this person?
Is there nothing he doesn't know, every post has a comment from him.
He must spend all day every day just posting to NG's.

A slight exageration perhaps

He must spend all day every day just posting to NG's.

Most of his posts are helpful and informing, seems like he's doing a
pretty good job on the whole.

These groups take me about 20 minutes to read every morning and I only
look at them once per day. On average I post about 10 short messages
to them per day, usually giving specific factual answers to particular
questions. If there is an interesting topic these can increase greatly
in number and length.

If you feel that you have nothing to learn from me then I suggest that
you examine the kill-file feature of your newsreader. Others do this
with success.

If it saves one of us having to pay for an engineer to call, he can stay
online all day and night as far as I'm concerned.
Helpful info is what the newsgroup is all about.

Hey, no need for that.
Did I say I that I did not learn from your posts....No.
Did I say that I thought you were spouting rubbish....No.
The truth is you have answered some of my questions and on ocassions
you have been the only reply.
I wondered who you were and how you find the time to be so involved in
this and other Newsgroups.
It was not my intention to offend.

You've obviously not read a number of his posts where he was less than helpful
and just an irritant. Still, he's easily ignored.

It takes a special sort of person to make rude and wildly inaccurate
comments about someone whose posts they choose never to read. And
unless the person knows more than the one he ignores it seems to be
somewhat short-sighted too.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.
