Sky+ slow response

This is really annoying me..why is Sky+ so unresponsive sometimes (most
times in fact)? If I press pause, say, it takes about 5 seconds to register.
Is there a reason for this?

Mine is certainly immediate - try resetting your box.

I had slowdown on Sky + for the first time in a year last week. Simple reset
routine cured it.
