Change to the G1 package, gets you all the sports and 4 movie channels.

The Sky website only mentions Sports 1/2 but apparently you do get 3/Extra

Any idea why this package is cheaper than Sports 1,2 + Movies 1? Is this
a short term offer?

When I purchased my Sky+ box (when they dropped the subscription) I
added the then Movies Premier in order to get three channels
broadcasting in DD. Since then they've reorganised the movie channels
such that I now only get two DD channels (Movies 1 & 3). Given that
Movies 3 seems to show the same films as Movies 1, perhaps I wouldn't be
losing anything by changing my package to Movies 2 instead (and indeed
would save money).

I would need to check that Sports 3 & Extra is definitely included.

TIA,
Mike

: It is (Sky Sports 3 is available to all with SS1 *or* SS2, and Sky
: Sports Xtra is available to all with SS1 *and* SS2).

: Oh, and I "upgraded" last night and I still have them!
Snap, I ahem upgraded too, and they are still there.

I think movies 1,3,5 etc show the Saturday premier hour after hour,
2,4,6 etc dinnae, I think it has been stated elsewhere in digitalspy
that these equate to the old moviemax
