Yes. But they make it as difficult as possible by ensuring almost all their
staff have no idea it is possible.

You can, but why not get a brand new box as part of the 1 pound
install offer on their web site (they will insist on 1 year phone
connection), if the current dish position is fine they will leave the
dish they brought and you will have a spare one of those as well.

When I had to get an extra card for my second box I just said "Can I have a
mirror subscription card please" and also, on the phone system, just choose
a random option, it doesn't really matter TBQFH.

Oh they know about mirror subs. But a first sub on a box you didn't buy
from them doesn't compute.

The words you need are "subscription only contract". I had no problem
getting one for my Ebay digibox..
