Have you made sure all the connections are secure, I had the same thing
happen, it turned out to be a loose connection on the RF extension lead. "Main" wrote in message ... The infra red link dongle I have in my bedroom has stopped working. The red light comes on if I connect it directly to the digibox but not if I put it to my TV in the bedroom. The RF 2 is obviously activated. A thought, I recently renewed a 2 metre length of sat cable going in to the link dongle with a length of bog standard coaxial TV cable. Would this be why its not working? Does Sat cable do anything different to ordinary coax? Paul |

The infra red link dongle I have in my bedroom has stopped working. The red
light comes on if I connect it directly to the digibox but not if I put it to my TV in the bedroom. The RF 2 is obviously activated. A thought, I recently renewed a 2 metre length of sat cable going in to the link dongle with a length of bog standard coaxial TV cable. Would this be why its not working? Does Sat cable do anything different to ordinary coax? Paul |

Yes, all connections are solid.

In the end, I left it in situ, in the bedroom & got on with something else. When I went to bed, it was working. |
