Default Difficult Installations

I have recently moved into a new flat and was given permission to have a Sky
dish put on the roof by the freeholder. The first installer came along and
said the 'special heights team' would have no problems installing that, but
they came along took one look and said "nah mate". They didn't seem very
keen to actually go up on the roof and have a look for any suitable spots
and I had heard people say that some of the installers will tend to avoid
the trickier jobs as the money they get from Sky means it isn't worth their
while. So I am not convinced there is no where to put the dish on my roof,
but as they are the only 'special heights team' in the area going direct
through Sky is no longer an option, what I was curious about was what other
options are available to me, are there companies out there that specialise
in 'Difficult Installations'? Sky said to speak to Comet or Curry's which I
will do but I don't hold out much hope for that. Any thoughts? I really
would like to have Sky Plus.....

Thanks

Gareth

Look in your yellow pages for a CAI approved satellite dealer/installer
who is also an authorised SKY agent.
He can get you the usual install offer (not the online price) but expect
to pay a premium for any non-standard work.
