Sky+ queries - series link and more!

I recently read a sky press release (old but I only just saw it) at

This has probably been covered in detail - but I am new to Sky+ and was
wondering if somebody could help me with a few problems.

1) Why can I not use series link on E4? The above press release state that
this was available from last summer. I get series link on every channel I
have tried so far except E4 - pain with ER starting soon.

2) Radio station recording is not available. I would like to record of BBC7
or Radio 4 - but cannot - is there a way to make a manual recording - as
there is no EPG for these channels?

The Sky+ series link software is buggy and is not always implemented
by broadcasters anyway.

Not all channels provide series link. Even those that do, don't always
put it on every programme.

Yes, just use the manual recording feature.

Yes it is. See the page entitled "Using Sky+ for recording radio
channels" in the manual.
