Default Quick Access to Subtitles

I read in a newsgroup somewhere (possibly Digital Spy) that part of
the Dual Record software update would include a 2 button process to
toggle Subtitles on and off, rather than the current tortuous route.

Does anyway know if this feature is live and how to acces it?

Thanks,

John

I read somewhere (but can't remember where or find the source), that it will
be in the next software release, and will be selectable by pressing the
green or yellow button.

Good news as it's a right pain in the arse at the moment turning them on and
off. Is there any expected release date for the new software? (And is this
going to be a Sky+ only software release, or will normal non-Sky+ digiboxes
get the subtitle upgrade?).

I really miss Ceefax : three or four button presses and you could go
right to the page you wanted - on Sky Digi you have to plough through
endless bloody menus.

I admit Skytext is somewhat better than BBCi, but it is still slow
compared to analogue teletext.

I only know what I read, can't answer your questions, sorry.

I've got a macro set up on my Philips Pronto for that

Automating the process doesn't eliminate the annoying menus though.
