Default Try different BBC regions

Purely out of curiosity, I decided tonight to try an alternative regional BBC news programme.

When the main 6 o'clock news finished on BBC1, I picked a region at random and went to channel 949
(BBC W Midlands)
to see some local news from a different part of the UK.

Main Headline Story.....
Some trees close to Coventry Airport may need to be cropped a few metres as they are too tall.

I guess some regions have no news. Still, must not grumble. "no news is good news" Usually, my
home region (BBC East East) is full of sickening crime.

Tomorrow I will try a different region. What will be the main headline down in the South West?

Well, tonight at 7.30pm I watched BBC1 Leeds. Their version of Inside Out
reported on security lapses seen at Humberside International Airport, a man
who blows up potential avalanches in the Alps, and the story of a Hull
fishing fleet that nearly caused a war with Russia 100 years ago. It sure
beat Coronary Sheet.

Man eats 3 week old Cornish pasty and lives to tell. Minehead residents are
told the war is over?
