Can anyone confirm that Sky in their infinite wisdom have
not got the rights to S3 of Alias? I read on a different group that it was stated on one of their teletext pages that they will not be showing S3. If this is true then Sky can **** right off, £40 and I dont get to see the best show around. *******!! |

I tried the first series, but gave up about two thirds of the way through - way too implausible for my liking. Oh, and the opening sequences always cracked me up - the exploding car, whose bonnet blows open only to expose a total lack of engine block - pleeeeze. Clem |

That was in S1 and the show doesnt have a big budget like '24' etc. It seems that people can rave about '24' yet Alias does everything that '24' does but so much more. If implausible storylines cause you to switch off then you might as well get rid of 99% of the shows on tv. Alias has a great blend of action and a fantastic evolving storyline. It reminds me a bit of the X-Files in it's first few seasons, just a shame that the show has been treated so badly. |

Alias doesn't do it for me, but if it does for you, great! Clem |

(However galling that might be) The problem I have with Sky's reasoning is that they basically said the same thing about Buffy with 6 episodes of season 2 to go ,and it took the fans a year to get them to show the episodes ,and we know how popular Buffy turned out to be for Sky in the long run |
