Strange display problems in "Search & Scan" banner

Hi folks,

I've got an old Grundig GDS200 which has recently developed a strange
problem. When using the Search & Scan info banner, any programme names that
include a lower-case letter 'c' cause the programme name to become corrupted
with a whole slew of other letters in place of the 'c'. For example, the
BBC4 rerun of "A Very Peculiar Practice' the other night showed up on the
banner as something like "A Very Pefffyyyyaaaammuliar Prafffyyyyaaaammtice".

This problem afflicts all channels but only programme names that contain
a lower-case 'c'. Programme names containing an upper case 'C' are not
affected (eg 'The Champions' will display fine).

Going to the TV Guide screens, I experience the same problem.

I've tried all the usual reset/download stuff but to no avail. Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated!

In that case one could suspect that your box has some sort of memory
failure and that it is time to replace it, if the fault bothers you.
