Default Best connections

I need to connect three optical out connections (Sky +, Panasonic e65
DVD recorder and a PS2) to a single Coaxial input on my surround
system (Bose lifestyle 8) system. Can i just use an optical switcher
box followed by a optical to coaxial connector? Is there a better
method?

What prompted you to buy a Bose "system?"

Should work fine and would be less expensive than any other method that I can
think of at the moment (unless you want to build your own).

You could, these are available at serval places.
OR you could junk that toy of yours and get a REAL reciever, something with
some connections (mine has six)
A cheap reciever should have at least two or three
This is just another example of what an expensive joke bose is. K-mart
quality at rolls royce prices

Yeah, use the bose for target practice and get a decent receiver, one with
some inputs
But if you insist on a mediocre "life" then what you suggest will work
