Default Another Sky+ problem I haven't seen mentioned yet

Nipped home for lunch yesterday and when I turned the TV on I realised
that (a) I'd left channel 402 on, (b) The Rugby Club was on and (c) I
hadn't recorded it on Thursday night (too busy getting drunk at the
Christmas party).

No problem, thinks I - with this fancy new software I can just press
record, and it'll save the whole programme from the beginning, even
though I've "missed" the first half an hour...

However, when I tried watching it last night from the planner,
everything looked OK, with a "RECORDED" in the planner screen, then
the usual synopsis and option to choose where to start watching, but
every time I tried playing back the programme, I would just get a
brief pause, then a blue screen with the synopsis window in the
middle. The only way to exit was by pressing Back Up - after about a
second this returned me to the Personal Planner.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Charlie

I experienced it constantly. A "Full System Reset" seems to have solved
the problem and increased reliability.

Sky+ viewing experience not so great since the upgrade ;-)

BTW, has anyone noticed you can set your clocks by the complaints that
come after every Sky software upgrade?
