Default Sky+ OS 1.30B9....

.....is the version of the replacement V2 box I got today after my V1 box
died.
This doesnt seem to have the dual record feature. Will forcing a software
download put it on or should I just wait for it to happen?

Accepted wisdom is to leave the box in standby for at least an hour, then
power cycle it.

Forcing a download will currently only get you the pre Dual Record software.

I don't think this will achieve anything. My box gets the power cycled
every day but also gets to spend many hours in standby. It hasn't been
updated yet

Why are you power cycling it? You're not turning it off for long periods
overnight or something are you? If so, I think that's a sure fire way to
miss software downloads
