This seems to be plugged endlessly now, but does anyone yet know what
kind of music it will carry?

Here in the United States, we have VH1 (Viewer Hits One) and VH1 Classic.
I'm surprised to see a VH2 in the UK. VH2 sounds stupid.

Did they change the ident over there like they did here?

The ident was changed to the stupid one. We've also got VH1, VH1 Classics,
and VH2 very soon.

VH2 sounds a bit like MTV2 was.

VH1 Classic reported showed Girls Aloud recently so that proves that and VH1
are just extra MTV channels and may as well be renamed as such. How long
before VH2 goes the same way?
