Default plugging in an extra sky box

I have a sky installation at home and have just got hold of a spare digibox.
Is it easy to plug this digibox into the current setup? Would I need an
engineer to set it up? Would I just get the free channels on it??

Tom

Yes. Buy a double lnb or better. Fit it. Run a second cable to where you
want your second boix. Voila.

Depends on whther you have bought a card and what sort of a card it is.

You need a separate feed from the dish for your new box. If you have a
Sky+ then you may have a feed available. If not you will probably need
to change part of the dish (quad LNB) and run another cable. This is
probably best left to someone who knows what he is doing.

If you want a card for the FTV channels then it may be an idea to
order it and activate it before the end of the month.

See my sig.

Would really need to be in a separate room as well otherwise the remote will
operate both at the same time.

so I definitly need to run a cable from the dish, rather than splitting the
orinigal cable?? Maybe Sky will do this for me for a small cost, since I
already have the dish and box..??
