Default Dual record and older V1 boxes

My box not updated yet, but Sky say that it is a staggered rollout with V2
boxes first, then V1 boxes then older ones etc.
Says I should have it over the weekend.

Anyone else not got it?

I was one of the very first people to get Sky+, so new at the time, that
they didn't have any installers in the area trained, so had to install it
myself or wait 10 weeks for an installer to be trained (normal Sky bull of
course).......

Anyway, mine was upgraded by 9am yesterday morning.

My V1, day-one box got it in the first roll-out. They're fibbing.

You may have already have it, but your box only has it in the download
caché. Try re-booting the box by removing the mains input for 10-20
seconds. It may well boot back up with the new s/w.

(Always try this first *before* attempting a forced download)

I had Sky+ installed yesterday, so got a V2 box and mine has not been
updated yet......think i will be one of the last upgrades as i have just got
it, i must be right down the bottom of the list........i've tried doing the
upgrade manually, but it still wont have it.....so will just sit here and
wait......was told by sky, it will prob be a couple of days.

sky told me today that certain older boxes are not acknowledging the upgrade
They don't know why but the upgrade is being periodically sent until 15
December.
It will not then be sent until after Xmas

He said it should just happen at some stage but a forced download has NO
effect whatsoever in activating the dr download
He sounded quite knowledgeable, said he had the same model as me 7.0.. and
his hadn't changed yet but when it did it will change to model 8.000

So boo hoo - will wait patiently - at least for now

Any others with Model 7 got the download?

Couldn't tell you what model I've got, other than it's a V1 model. And
it received the dual record upgrade yesterday morning and it works
perfectly, even when having a home-fitted 80gb drive in it. All the
existing recordings still work and all the new features work. Quite
pleased, for once.

Regards

Mark
