Default Dual recording question

Something that's just occurred to me - when my Sky+ box is recording two
things at once can I:

1. Watch something live on a channel that isn't one of the ones being
recorded from (presumably Live Pause won't work though)

2. Watch a pre-recorded programme

?

Just curious

Glenn.

No.

However, you can live pause and rewind (even without a live rewind buffer)
either of the channels that are being recorded even if you weren't
watching the channel at the point you rewind to(!) Basically, a fine
integration of Live Pause and Recordings.

2. Watch a pre-recorded programme

Yes.

OK - presumably this is because both tuners are in use because of the
recording?

2. Watch a pre-recorded programme

Yes

Good to know. Thanks.

Glenn.
