Sky + Fan

Does the sky + fan run all the time.....mines not working hence the
screaming sky + box cos its over heating.

Mine doesn't run much. When I first got the box it ran 24/7 but now it
runs once or twice a week and not for long then.

No, it's under the control of the OS and is triggered by sensors on the
board. It will run more often the higher the ambient temp of the room
and such like.

If I recall correctly a few people said the fan ran 24/7 when first powered
up but then once powered down and up again only comes on when required. If
true it's a good way of knowing you've had a brand new box. If not, it
isn't.........
