Those godam morons still think they have to censor sitcoms like "Becker" and

night between 1am and 2 am)!!
What the **** is that about ???

Nobody cares as usual huh?? oh well ....

I saw Seinfeld last night as heard the bleep, then turned over to BBC2
at 9:30pm to hear far worse. Why are Paramount treating us all like
little children after 9:00pm?

Why are you surprised? You're only a customer, after all, and therefore
of no consequence.

IIRC Paramount once mentioned that they only show what they receive on the
tapes from the US, and prefer the edited versions which can be shown in any
time slot. If Paramount weren't so cheap they would import unedited tapes
and produce an additional edit version for pre-watershed use.

They do. The 02:30 showings of 3rd Rock are unbleeped, the daytime ones
are volume-dipped.

Since Becker is produced in the USA, where bloody gun battles,
dismemberment, and the like are acceptable, but naughty words and nudity are
forbidden, Paramount probably received the tape that way. They didn't
bleep the stuff, CBS (Central Broadcasting Company, USA) did.
