Default Cancelling Sky Packages

I'm just off the phone from Sky after cancelling my Sky Sports
package. They said Im paid up until the 1st of December and they would
recommend to get value for money that I phone up again then.

I then asked if I cancelled now would I get reimbursed for the days up
til 1st December (which from past experience I know I can) she said
yes. So I will get £5.50 credited to my account then. How can Sky
then 'recommend for value for money' that I cancel later?

This would be fair if I couldnt get reimbursed but since I can its not
strictly true is it?
