Default Sky and Video Recording

Okay hows this for common sense. If I connect my two scart leads on the back
of the digibox as they are meant (digibox scart tv to tv, digibox scart
video to video) my video player won't pick up sky even though it's on
correct channel etc. If I reverse the scart leads (tv to video, video to tv)
sky works.

Hi,

when connected "correctly" do you see Sky on your video when you select the AV channel or
Ext channel on your video. They should work connected like this, mine do. This gives the
best picture quality for recording Sky as it's through the Scart and not the aerial.

When you say it won't pick up Sky do you mean it won't display on the TV
or that it won't record? The correct channel for the scart will be an AV
channel on the VCR but if you sellect this you probably won't see a
picture although it will record (and play back) correctly.
