Default A few questions about Freeview Card

Hi,

my friend has cancelled her Sky subscription but is keeping the box. She is now getting
the messages that the card will be turned off etc. so I've mentioned the "Freeview" card.

Does the Freeview card work in any Sky box?

What does it cost and where do you get them from, link?

Is it a one off charge?

What channels can you then watch without any subscription?

Thanks,

CJ

If you mean free-to-view, yes.

What does it cost and where do you get them from, link?

It costs £20.00 + VAT = £23.50. The Tel No is 08700 541 800

Is it a one off charge?

Yes, for at least two years.

What channels can you then watch without any subscription?

Thanks,

CJ

Sorry, forgot to say that the card is required to receive ITV1, Channel 4
and Five. All BBC progs are FTA anyway. BobS

She ought to continue to get the FTV channels without a new card.
There will be nothing to gain by buying the new type FTV card...

No. She must have an old card or she wouldn't be getting the banner.
New cards don't need changing, as you say.
