Default Cancelling Sky - some questions

Need to save money so four questions:

1.How much notice do Sky require to cancel?

2.How much is the cheapest package?

3.What fta channels do you get with a Sky digibox and no subscription?

4. Do the radio channels remain fta?

Many thanks

Mike

I believe this is increasing to £13.50 in January 2004.

If you have already served your 12 months time with Sky, I would
advise you to cancel completely rather than go for the Value Pack
(which is just Sky One and Discovery Home and Leisure).

After cancelling, your old Sky card will still let you watch ITV1,
Channel 4 and five. The BBC channels don't even need a card.

You are obliged to stay with them for 12 months only. If you give 30days
notice on December 01st, then your contract will end on 31st December. So
Sky have to accept the 30days notice from you. When 31st December arrives
you obligation to Sky will be over. Simple as that.

Sky did indeed previously do this but they have since changed their
(illegal) policy. You can now cancel for the end of the 12th month.

Indeed. But the other poster is quite right in that previously Sky
would not accept cancellations prior to the end of the 12th month,
making a 13 month minimum. This of course was illegal which was why
they stopped doing it.
