Default Moving house - Existing subscriber - Can I get a cheap new installation?

As the title suggests, I've currently got Sky (normal digibox, family pack
deal) and am moving in about a month.

I want SKY installing in the new house which currently has no dish so my
questions are :-

Is it cheaper to cancel and then get it reinstalled or pay a private firm to
move the dish?
Will SKY give me a cheap new installation what with me being an existing
subscriber or is it as simple as cancelling and ordering again.

I don't want all the premium channels, just family pack so don't want to get
tied into a deal where I've got to pay 30+ quid a month for 12 months or
anything.

Last questions - Assuming SKY will do a new cheap installation - How long do
they typically take? Months, weeks?

If I do get a new install, should I just sell my old digibox (Silver PACE)
on ebay? Or is it any use?

Thanks for reading ( and hopefully answering)

look at the current offer on the sky web site, normally you can get it
installed for £1... length of contract at the £0 premium rate depends on
what the present offer is

I suggest you do as I did, signed up on the internet a week before I moved,
arranged for the contractor to t ocome on the day I moved in,

when there I asked if he could install a quad LNB , yes for £49 plus cables
at £40... put the old Amstrad Box in the kids bedroom BBC1.2.3 &4/ITV/CH4 &5
CBBC, Sky news etcall Free to View using the old subscription card

After a month I cancelled the full sub and just have Sky sports+basic

My brother's just moved house. He was one of the first Sky Digital
customers, and as such paid the full whack for his box - about £300 I
think. He asked me about transfering it, and I said he really ought to
try and get another new installation out of them, so he'll have a
second box for reserve, especially since he paid £300 and it's years
old now. I suggested he get the sub in his wife's name, and change the
account it's debited from. I think he changed it from his credit card
to hers, or their current account. Now installed, no problem.
