Default Refused the £1 installation

Booked Sky+ this morning by phone, not realising there was an offer of
£1 installation on the net.

Telephone Sky just now to see if I could get the installation under this
offer and they denied such an offer is even made on their web site.

Hi Lansbury

Call them back on the telephone number thats listed on the webpage not the
Generic 08702 42 42 42 number. Basically whoever you spoke to is being silly
or has just started. If you cancel (which you are entited to do) and rebook
they will soon back down. They will most likely credit your new account with
the difference between what you paid and the quid.

I cant speak for new business but in the Sky+ dept if you mention the quid
we can sell it, just not promote it. At the moment you must however have
called using one of the numbers from the website. Beware though some of
those are the generic ones.

Me too. I spoke to them on the phone, mentioned the £1 offer, and asked if
they could do it or did I need to book on the internet. The guy said he
would have to speak to his manager and returned in less than 15 seconds
saying no problem.

I took up the £1 offer quickly becuase there is a suggestion that it will be
removed when the £10 monthly subs gets dropped. Could be just rumour but I
didn't want to take the chance.

Cheers,

Nigel

I ordered Sky + on Monday over the phone and mentioned the £1 offer. No
problem the lady said and it will be installed on Thursday. Sounds like
great service to me - if it happens.

and he immediately retracted the fee to £1.
