Default Q: Sky free to view card????????????

I want to stop paying 18.50/month to sky, I've had my box for over a year
now and hear that there is a free view card that you can get from the BBC or
something. I did a search on google groups about this subject but it just
confused me as it said you can't get ITV or something. Someone please
clarify the situation for me thanks.

Stop paying and your card will become a FTV card

Just phone Sky, give them 30 days notice you want to quit thier service.
After 30 dyas your card will revert to FTV status. you need not do anything
else. You will still be able to view ITV,C4 & C5.

Simple really.
