The bad thing about Blainey..

...is that he's cheating. Anyone watching the live feed today see him have a
two-way conversation with his friends & crew? There's a little trap-door
comms device on the bottom of the box, and full audio was left on during
that time (oops!). All his publicity states there is NO communications. One
of the conversations went something like "So, did you get good shots? Loads
of good footage? Great. I wasn't sure if the blankets would screw up the
shots, yeah (laugh), $2000, (laugh) sure, but not if it makes you ill..."

There's an awful lot of amenmeties for what's meant to be isolation, and
this is icing on the cake. Getting very close to the average life of an
office worker, hospital patient, or just elderly person, apart from the £5
million for two months work. I'd do it.

Ok, so it seems to be a hole rather than a mobile phone, but he's had a fair
few people down there to talk to him, not just his security guards (who he's
chatting with every time I turn it on). Ahem, not that I care, just that 5
minute big-brother curiosity thing, and makes a good fishtank background
when trying to do some reading in the lounge.
