Default Sky + box sensitivety

Now that Sky are dropping the Sky + monthly charge I will definitely
be buying a box (mainly for the DD optical out).

However I am viewing in Scandinavia and currentlt use a Panasonic
DSB30 box as its gives me the biggest sensitivety margin.

Does anyone know relatively how sensitive the Sky+ box front end is?
I.e does it perform ok with weaker signals?

Ta,
J.

Using Phase 2 in Russia, Moscow.
Very low signal - 1.2m dish, unable to get 2D, but all other is ok, sky+
functions are online.
Sensitivity is i think even better than Amstrads with modified tuner unit
(used one before).

It should be the same as a Pace 2600.

Excellent. A technically correct answer that imparts no useful
information whatsoever... :-)

What do you want to know? Weak signals aren't a problem within the
official Astra 2 footprint. Outside that area the problem is as likely
to be one of image rejection as one of sensitivity. So there isn't any
one answer to your vague question. If you want to know whether the
Sky+ will work in Portugal or Moscow then say so.

look at the original thread, he said scandinavia.
