Default Pace Box & slow response to remote

Our first gen pace box has suddenly become rather sluggish when it comes to
the remote.

Sometimes we have to press a button 3 times before it responds - and it's
very frustrating!

This box was fine Thursday morning at 2am, but having problems by Friday
9am.

Initially suspected the remote, so replaced the batteries. Then noticed the
remote LED was flashing every time a button was pressed, but the 'receive'
light of the sky box was not (only one in every three or so presses). Still
suspecting the remote - I used my Palm Pilot to monitor IR signals received
at the sky box. Every key pressed on the remote does actually transmit -
and the palm above the sky box reads a high signal level.

Hence, after all of that - I can only assume the software has been upgraded,
and the IR reception is a little buggy. A reboot has not fixed this.

Anyone experiencing similar?

Have you tried replacing the batteries?

Do you see?

ooops sorry!!!

Lol - not to worry - the following day it's all back to normal. Haven't had
chance to check the software revision yet ... but perhaps it was a glitch
with first gen pace boxes?

Very strange

Steve
