In article .co.uk.invalid,
lid says... Does a definitive glossary exist describing the various code letters used by Sky in their epg listings? Being semi-literate myself, I can fully believe that 'T' stands for 'Subtitles' and 'N' for 'Audio Description', but 'C' has me beat, except that the programmes it adorns all look crap. In article .uk.invalid,
lid says... Ta muchly. So C is for Macrovision. I think I'm getting the hang of the Sky alphabet Presumably they'd have to pay extra to list the name, so just call it copy protection? -- Dom Robinson Gamertag: DVDfever email: dom at dvdfever dot co dot uk /* http://DVDfever.co.uk (editor) /* 940 DVDs, 259 games, 33 videos, 67 cinema films, 69 CDs, laserdiscs & news /* star trek nemesis, bringing down the house, phone booth, human nature "Those who say they can, can, while those who say they can't, are right." |

"Dom Robinson" wrote in message ... In article .uk.invalid, lid says... Ta muchly. So C is for Macrovision. "Macrovision" sounds like something used to improve your viewing experience... like Cinemascope or Dolby Digital or Supermarionation. |
