Default "Experience IMA..." banner

Further to this.
(btw it is on Channel 4)
Apart from this block stuck on my screen being annoying. If I press the 'red
button' I get a brief flash on the screen and then it goes back to the
programme - still with the blasted white block showing! So what is it's
point?

Is there a reason behind this banner stuck (annoyingly) on my screen?
Any URL's describing this will be gratefully received.

Thanks I will look.

The block is like the "press the red button" 'logo', but on the left instead
of the right and three times the size.
It dissapeared after that particular programme.

It sounds like a normal (though large) interactive red button. If so
the backup button should make it vanish until the next ad break.

With the majority of channels, if you press red then back up quickly, the
graphic will not return until you change the channel. However, you will not
be able to access the interactive services until you change the channel
either (not a problem for most people.)

Thanks all, for your responses.

It didn't appear later in the evening. But I am sure I hadn't imagined it!
Also it WAS much large than the usual (tho' still annoying) 'press the red
button' labels and on the left instead of the right.

I feel better prepared now if it should reappear.

I saw it last night before my Tivo zapped it. It certainly does exist.
Bloody great thing.
