Default Sky email contact details

Hi,

When telephoning have you asked to speak to their line manager or a senior person? You
must ring at least every week until they respond.

I wouldn't trust to e-mail as they will get 100's a week and it will not reach the correct
person.

In similar situations I always send a letter by registered post stating all the facts in
detail. I also state that if the situation is not resolved and a refund not received
within a couple of weeks then you will contact the Citizen's Advice Bureau or Trading
Standards. I also word the letter with strong legal type language etc. etc.

Do you use Internet Banking? if so then you should have the facility to alter the Direct
Debit or indeed cancel it and get the correct one set up by ringing Sky again. At least
the overcharging stops then.

Can anyone, either via Newsgroup or email, give me some contact email
addresses for Sky. I have had a problem in that I've been overcharged by
£33 per month since January. Whenever I phone, they check their screens and
confirm that I have indeed been overcharged. (There's no dispute over
this.) I am promised it will be sorted and that I will be sent a refund by
cheque, but nothing happens and I'm overcharged again in the next month.
I'm now owed almost £250.

My dad was in a similar situation a couple of years ago. Sky had been
charging for both analogue and digital subscriptions. The contract
signed when he ordered Sky Digital specifically stated that the analogue
subscription would be ended. 3 months was spent phoning numerous Sky
employees, each time with false promises of refunds, or denying that he
was owed the money because he had not contacted sky earlier, and that he
must have chosen to continue the analogue subscription.

Eventually, it took a threat of legal action, and the digital contract
via registered post to get the money back.

Just to update people on my overcharge. I tried the email address suggested
and a Sky person phoned me two days later to apologise and tell me the
problem would be sorted. I was told the overpayment would be treated as a
credit on my account. I will await my next statement to see whether this
has actually been actioned this time.
