I have come accross a couple of things mentioning the ablility to record two
programmes at one on Sky+ (as well as live pause). Is this available? I have an original Sky+ box and I have noticed that there is a new box out now, is it any different? Can I only record two things at once with the new Sky + box? Help!!! Ta, Mark |

It's not with us yet, hopefully very soon now. There are no important differences between the two boxes featurewise. Both versions will be able to record two programmes at once. -- Andy Norman http://www.norman.cx/ |

Ta, Mark The new software for Sky+ will be downloaded by the box automatically, and it doesn't matter which Sky+ box that you have. However, you seem to be asking whether this new feature will allow you to record two seperate channels AND watch & pause a third channel, all at the same time. The answer is 'no'. The Sky+ box (both versions) has two tuners, therefore it can tune to a maximum of two channels at any one time. The new feature therefore allows you to record up to two channels at any one time, and at the same time you can either watch one of these channels or watch a pre-recorded programme. You CANNOT record two channels and watch a third. Richard. |
