My Sky software EPG wish list :-

- be able to pull up program information on any program in the future
on any channel without using the TV guide, this is possible on most
digital cable and freeview boxes

- a "previous channel" button so you can quickly switch between two
channels (most analogue Satellite boxes had such a RCL button), useful
when flicking between two films/sporting events simultaneously (not
recommended if you watching TV with someone else as the likelyhood of
being thumped is large)

- a "back" favourates key, say yellow to cycle the other way through
the favourates than the blue key does

- autoview, allow programme clashes so that you can join a second
program after it has started

- and of course an option in services to turn off the "red dot"

Chris

My Sky software EPG wish list :-

All sounds nice, sensible and achievable. Probably never happen. I'd also
like to see:

- Controllable opacity for the EPG, so I can make it semi-transparent.

- After selecting a channel from the TV Guide, I should be able to press
Backup to return to the exact place I was before in the TV Guide. Currently
I have to go right back to the start, page through all the pages of
channels, etc. Very annoying.

- Expand the number of favourite channels past 20 (why not 50? or 100?)

- Make it so that when setting the favourite channels, pressing Backup
doesn't immediately discard the changes without asking for confirmation.
I've lost count of the number of times I've done that.

Anyone for any more?

Adam.

now.

My Sky software EPG wish list :-

snip

And a "SHUTTHE****UP" button for Sky One's Claire Sturgeon (along with any
other continuity announcers).

Oh, and a "DONTSCRUNCHUPTHEENDCREDITS" button.

And a button to make the DOGs invisible (ALL of them, not just the red dots,
including UK Gold's ******* annoying "7 days to Carry On Weekend" - the latest
in a long line of these)
