Default Activating Sky+

Hi,

living abroad I bought a Sky+ box on ebay and got it today.

Question: in order to get a sky+ subscription do you have to give CS a call
or do you phone in into one of those automatic systems like they have for
Premiership Plus season tickets? Well, I would not phone from Germany but it
would be easier for a friend of mine currently in England if he had not to
pretend to be me whilst speaking to someone from CS live on the phone :-))

Any ideas?

Cheers

Forgot to mention that I have been a "regular" subscriber to SKY for quite a
while now. Don“t know, though, if that makes a difference. :-))

I'd also like some information about activating Sky+. I was going to start a
new thread, but now there's one here already so I'll just use this one.

I'm a regular Sky subscriber too. When I get my Sky+ box, will I have to
phone Sky to get it activated or can I do it via the installer menu?

Yes. The number is in the manual.
