Default Sony optical

This has been discussed before but have I missed a trick or something?

I recently bought a Sky+ box to replace my Sony 760 so I could get the
full DD 5:1 experience as the optical out on the Sony didn't output the
DD signal. I've just been looking on Ebay with a view to selling it and
notice that many of the 760s for sale on there say that it comes with
full DD 5:1 from the optical output.

Is this a "mistake" or have Sky changed things? If they have I can go
back to the Sony. If they haven't then I'll sell it

Thanks for any info

It's a mistake (and wishful thinking!) - Also a selling point to the less
well informed.
