Default Free to view cards

Sent this to Sky:
Now that the BBC are not providing Free to View cards could you not
take this over and charge a reasonable amount for the card and
administration?
Regards, Ian Smith

got this back:
Dear Ian
Thank you for your email about free to air channels.
Please allow me to explain that the broadcaster who subsidised the
free Solas card has now withdrawn this facility.
Unfortunately, Sky has no plans at present to offer this service.
Therefore, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 will be only be available via
the Sky digital platform with the use of a Sky viewing card.
Thank you for your interest in Sky.
Kind regards
Gordon Smith

They don't even bother to read the original email properly do they.

Reading? Oh no, you've got to pay extra for that privilege.

That's because they can't say they figure they'll make more money from the
aditional subscriptions they think they'll get...
