Hello,

Could someone please tell me if there is a universal remote control
for my HT system located in the basement and I would like to control
the devices from 2nd floor.

You can use a separate remote eye kit from Xantech, SpeakerCraft, Niles, etc.
that will allow any IR remote to work as long as you can run one wire for the
eye. If you can't run wire, you can use an RF remote. Hard wiring is always
the most reliable though.
