Default what DVD-R is best for my player?

I have the Sony DVP-CX985V and the DVDs I used before do not work.
Then I saw that some of my old Fuji's worked. SO I bought
Fuji's....and these don't work.

What brand is best? Also, I remember a site that listed what brands
worked best with various players.....do you remember what that site
was?

Thanks

Thats what I had hoped, but no such luck.

Maybe I'll try Sony's. If its a Sony player, I would hope their
blanks would work

Doubtful, Sony has nothing to do with the manufacuring of their discs, they
just buy them from the lowest bidder and stick their name on there.

Have you tried the discs in another player?
