There's a bad ground somewhere in the cable, and it's not necessarily
within your house. It could be a neighbor.

Under what conditions do you see these diagonal lines? What video
source are you viewing when you see these lines--cable TV, DVD,
satellite?

These lines indicate a faulty ground loop...

Hi

I recently bought a 50 inch Vizio plasma tv. At first we saw diagonal
lines on the screen. We don't see them any more, but we haven't done
anything to fix it, so I assume they're only visible...
