911 would know where you are in a remote car accident if you had a landline back home? How is that relevant to my argument that I'm not getting rid of my landline until E-911 Phase II is complete? The point is that when I'm at home, I like knowing that I can pick up the phone, dial 911, then not even have to talk if I can't... I don't need for the E-911 stuff to work _anywhere_, I would gladly settle for it being able to tell the 911 operators both my home address & the fact that I'm at home when appropriate. I'll be happier when E-911 does work anywhere, for the reason you mentioned, but as for right now I'm not willing to give up my landline because I don't want to lose a 'feature'. -- Lenroc |

You guys buy cars, and then complain about buying gasolene? Uh... I suppose, if I bought a conversion kit (a net adapter) to make the car work on a different type of fuel (my home network), but I still needed gasoline to start the engine (guided setup), then yeah, I'd complain. -- Lenroc |

O clueless one, there are still a ton of places in the US where there is absolutely NO cellular service. They'll wake up and join the 21st century soon enough. That's the beauty of prepaid...I don't HAVE a cellphone bill. :) Sure you do, just not at regular intervals, its not prepaid for life is it? -- David | AGM Favorite Games - http://tinyurl.com/loec (null cookie; hope that's ok) |

If your is similar, then I'd consider that monthly a cellphone bill. Either that, or I didn't really have a true prepaid phone, which is more likely. (at&t Free2go phone) |
