Tivo.com has the 80 hr unit for 349.00 with a 50.00 rebate.
In this case, There In the $300-$400 as I claimed. Yeah We all know that we can go to ebay, or other places to find them cheaper. "Bao H. Lammy" wrote in message ... "Lenroc" wrote Standalones start at $150 with a $50 rebate, Isn't that $200 _after_ $50 MIR? Or are you talking about refurbs or something else? BestBuy has the 40 hr for $250 with an additional $50 MIR, bringing it to $200... You're right. I could have sworn what I wrote was the deal recently, but maybe I spaced then as well. It was a special deal at tivo.com with a special link for "friends" of TiVo users or something like that; the link may still work, but I can't remember it right now. Whatever it was, it was quite simple, something like www.tivo.com/sale -- and iirc (ha ha), there was no rebate required. Wait -- I think they were refurbs, but not from servicedvr.com, but tivo.com. Anyone remember this at all? In any case, they're not "$300-$400" as claimed by the other poster. |
