Interesting. I heard from a Cox user here in Phoenix that it added only
$10 to his bill, since he had digicable already... In my case (Time Warner NYC) it was $8.95 plus tax increase since I already had a digital box. |

He may be paying 15.00 a month. But he is getting the guide info also Tivo guide Info Is 12.95 a mo. All Its costing him Is 2.05 a mo. Plus the fact there Is no buying the unit 300-400 bucks for a tivo. Standalones start at $150 with a $50 rebate, and as others have said, DirecTiVos are $99. There was even a $50 rebate recently for those, making them $49 after rebate. |

It was a special deal at tivo.com with a special link for "friends" of TiVo users or something like that; the link may still work, but I can't remember it right now. Whatever it was, it was quite simple, something like www.tivo.com/sale -- and iirc (ha ha), there was no rebate required. Wait -- I think they were refurbs, but not from servicedvr.com, but tivo.com. Anyone remember this at all? In any case, they're not "$300-$400" as claimed by the other poster. |

In this case, There In the $300-$400 as I claimed. Yeah We all know that we can go to ebay, or other places to find them cheaper. "Bao H. Lammy" wrote in message ...
