Tivo Remote: Jump-to-Beginning button(s)?
Folks,
Somtimes I accidentally hit a button or button combination that causes my HDVR2 to jump back to the beginning of whatever it is showing; that is, on live TV it jumps to the beginning of the buffer, and when watching a pre-recorded show, it jumps back to the beginning of it. Does anybody know how to do this? ... Joe |

I don't know if it works on live tv; I'm recording right now, so I can't test. Ken |

If you're watching a show that is being recorded, that's correct. I don't know if it works on live tv; I'm recording right now, so I can't test. 'live tv' isn't the big difference, it's 'buffer' or 'non-buffer'. I don't *know* any way to instantly go to the beginning of the 30min buffer. Of course it seems to happen accidentally to me at least 2 or 3 times a month. "wow, how did it do that?" -- Darren Dunham Unix System Administrator Taos - The SysAdmin Company Got some Dr Pepper? Happens to me occasionally as well. See, Tivo? The software is already written to do it! Now just make it reliable. Umm, it could be a *bug* rather than software written to do it. |

Its not a bug, its a hidden feature. Now they just need to tell us how it works. oh...:) -- David | AGM Favorite Games - http://tinyurl.com/loec NT (as in Windows NT) is short for "Nasty Technology". |
