channel preview
 

I have the sony kv34hs510 and when I have the video mode on regular cable
(sd) and hit the button on the remote to see what's on next, or other
channels, nothing comes up. I have comcast. I have to change the video
mode to HD in order to get my preview window. Does anyone else experience
this, and how can I correct it?

Are you using a cable box? If so, you will need to run a separate raw cable
feed into the second cable input on the TV. My cable system does not
require a box, so I only have to use 1 input, but I think that's the way
it works for those with converters.

The cable box has 2 connections. One for the DVI and one for the regular
cable. The buttons on the remote to change the channel preview do NOT work
with the STRAIGHT cable. I would think it would be the other way around.
