If they get stuck for cash, they could always launch an adult channel called
Maid in Leeds.

Anyone know the frequencies/polarizations/etc of the UK local TV
station(s) that are on satellite?

Bill

Made in Leeds starts tomorrow on Freeview 8 and their website says Virgin
as well.
No mention of satellite. Would they be able to afford the costs?

David

London Live carries ex BBC and C4 comedy shows, so there are rights

Do you mean a Sky box and card?

Yes

So other boxes and Freesat will not work?

No, they won't

******** to it then. I'll stick with the audio-only advertising breaks,
sudden changes of volume, and colour peculiarities of Sheffield Live.
Mind you, I see they've been down to Bright House for a new studio
coffee table.

Are you sure you weren't watching the London one by mistake?

Made in Leeds started last night.

It might as well have finished there as well. Nuff said?

Well Made in Leeds is on this morning and unimpressed is the first reaction.
They have been doing Promos for a few weeks now and what they appear to
be transmitting is an extension of the short promos into longer ones.
I had expected a local news station at breakfast time was to be doing up
to date local news.
Technically only one problem so far is that for one comedy insert front
sound goes off and sound comes out of my surround speakers at very high
volume.

Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting that Bill really had made a
mistake, only that his description fitted the London station
perfectly.

Bill is missing nothing from this Leeds local, I never watch the
shopping channels but even they are better than Made in Leeds.
