is it posible to split the screen in half and have say outlook on one side

can i plug my pc into my firewire port on my cable box and then have it
stream live hdtv shows to a window while i have my pc connected to the hdtv as a monitor? ... What will the killer app be for using a hdtv as a computer monitor? None I am already running at 1280x1024 on my 21 inch monitor so why would I connect my computer to my TV. My monitor can also be run at 1600x1200, but I don't do that very often. |
