Yes they don't break off the wire as you tighten it.

The big flaw was that it was all too easy to overdo it (plus there was no 'spring applied pressure' that would maintain the contact pressure through thermal cycling). -- Regards, J B Good |

Any reasonable tightening would start to cut the wire, then if you moved it strands would pop out. Bill |
