I recorded both episodes of 'The Bridge' on BBC Four HD without difficulty (Freeview). Having just checked my Humax, it has no BBC4 HD channel, 106, tuned in. Maybe I need a retune, but I don't worry about the HD channels, so it won't worry me if it doesn't find it. Is this the referenced 'problem'? I think you do need to rescan as it is a new multiplex rather than a change within the existing multiplexes. I'm a big fan of HD but I know opinions vary on the subject! |

Is this the referenced 'problem'? You have to do a rescan to get it (obviously it won't appear on the older non-HD boxes). The problem is that although once scanned the channel appears, timer recordings from it are liable to fail. This is a bug which apparently Humax know about so hopefully a fix will be forthcoming eventually. |

I annoyingly deleted them as I though it was just one-of-those-things
but now wish I hadn't as the fine people on the hummy forums has figured out a work around to view the recordings. +++++++ Please provide a link or info - I've got my "zero" recordings still. Paul DS |

Paul DS It's buried somewhere in this thread : http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/failed...-channel.4309/ But I think you need to have the customised software installed. It involves copying off the .ts file and/or removing the .nts file Richard |
